Little Engineer {Franklin, TN – Child Photographer}

Yesterday, I spent a beautiful Spring morning in a popular area of downtown Franklin with a little engineer! His family is adorable and they are expecting a little girl in May. This 3 year old cutie loves train, truck and is all boy–man, is that little girl going to have a fabulous big brother.

He was so cooperate and just willing to have fun and let me capture it all. I have to say it was my easy session I have had in a while and we had a terrific time to top it off!

I Wanna Hug! {Franklin, Tn-Child Photographer}

I just wanna hug from precious, Grant! I featured Grant’s sister on a previous post– I just had to give each of them a post of their own! Grant just makes my heart smile and he gives the best hugs ever.

These pictures were Grant’s 2 year old session and I just can’t stop looking at his captivating eyes. Grant is one of those babies you just want to be around all the time. He is extremely pleasant and likes to love and be loved! Ok, enjoy the pictures–I got to go set up a play date with this cutie so I can cuddle with him!!

Not Just Another Pretty Face {Franklin,Tennessee-Child Photographer}

Sweet Savannah is certainly not just a pretty face! Oh, how I love this cutie! She has such a gentle, loving spirit and her heart is always beaming with kindness beyond measure. My family is so fortunate to have Savannah, her dear parents and adorable little brother in our lives. They are the type of people that you see in a restaurant and you immediately know they would be a wonderful family to know!!

Back to Savannah, she was my perfect model this past fall. She was willing to do whatever I asked of her and I just love her gorgeous eyes–it is like you can just feel all the warmth and love she has just by looking in those stunning God-given eyes! I look forward to capturing Savannah as she continues to mature. Love her!!

One of my very favorite shots is the last one. Savannah is snuggling her baby doll tightly–a very special baby doll that will be with her always.

Santa Baby! {Franklin, TN-Newborn Photographer}

What a wonderful Christmas season it has been! I hope everyone had the very best of Christmases and that the New Year will be fantastic. I have had a great end of the year with my clients and their babies. I just have to share more of the great times I have had with these families.

Guess Emerson napped a little more than I remember–she is super cute, sweet and just a bundle of joy! I was so happy that her mother suggested a Santa hat that I ran all over town to find the perfect one before I showed up for our appointment. We had a great time with baby Emerson and I know the whole family had an incredible Christmas–just look at this cutie!!

This picture is actually a sweet favorite of mine. She is just perfect here and reminds me a lot of my 2 year old son, Cillian. Cillian puts the same two fingers in his mouth when he is tired. Emerson is such a doll! Thanks to her family for allowing me to capture her newness!! that is a word, right?

Baby It’s Cold Outside! {Franklin, TN-Newborn Photographer}

Well, it has been a fairly cold November and December in Tennessee. However, I got lucky with this sweet little one-we caught a nice warm day with just a slight breeze. A perfect day to wrap a newborn up and let her take a nap in a couple of old crates! Yes, I love this part of my job and I love it even more when Mom is patient and willing to do just about anything to get a good shot!

Sweet Emerson must have been ready to take a nap, she didn’t even wake when her Mom put her in the crate…must have been something comforting about be wrapped up tightly and sleeping in some old vintage crates!!

Later, I will share some indoor pictures but for now–have fun looking at this cutie pie! One of my favorite shots we got of Emerson is the one where she is yawning. She just yawned and went right back to sleep!

She is 1! {Franklin TN – Children Photographer}

Gabby just turned 1 and she is a very energetic little girl! I had so much fun with her and her parents. We changed outfits, changed locations and Gabby changed facial expressions every chance she got. I loved capturing all her adorable faces–such fun!

When I brought out my old suitcases Gabby climbed right up. She had so much fun climbing up and falling down. Her parents and I had a great time watching her and laughing with her. Taking a 1 year old’s picture is really important and I am thrilled to have been a part of Gabby’s 1 year memories!

2 Dolls and a Guy! {Franklin, TN – Family Photographer}

I have had the honor of photographing these little dolls since they were 3 weeks old–precious. They really do look like little dolls and their brother is the perfect little guy. He is so sweet and gentle with his twin sisters and makes them laugh with fun and games!

The dolls are 6 months now and they have fabulous personalities and I have so much fun working with the entire family. Mom is so patient and helpful during shooting and always willing to try something different. I love that she took a break from “smile maker” to sweet loving mom.

Thank you guys so much for trusting me to capture so many memories for you these last 6 months!

Boys! {Brentwood, TN – Family Photographer}

I had the pleasure of spending some time with a really fun Murfreesboro family. We spent a gorgeous fall day at the Cool Springs House where “mom and dad” got married years ago! It was so much fun being with a family much like my own–two crazy boys and two tireless parents!!

Some of my favorite photos from the shoot are the ones that showed real emotion between Mom and her boys. These two boys were a handful, yet so very loving to each other and their parents.I adore their cute faces and their playfulness with each other…Brothers!!

Perfection { Franklin, TN – Newborn Photographer }

I have officially started my business and has it taken off! Originally, my plans were to start slow and ease into my business. I should count myself lucky that the unexpected happened. This Fall has been tons of fun with families, children, newborns and workshops. Now I have to let you in on what I have been shootin’!!

This newborn is just perfection wouldn’t you agree? He was so sweet to work with however, I think this shot was the only opportunity I had while he was sleeping, never the less, I had a great time capturing his beautiful face and his adorable nose, seriously…..perfect!!
